Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Rahim
In the name of Allah the most kind, the most merciful.

Muslim Fathers Homeschooling Forum (MFHF) is an extension of the "Homeschooling Father's Forum"
given at the Muslim Homeschooling and Family conventions.
Since our convention is held every 2 years it was felt that father's needed another place to also discuss isses.
Because this list is to encourage discussions that men my find difficult in mixed company, this list is
MEN ONLY.

Non-Muslim men may be invited to join the group.

Administrative

  1. This list is not for the introduction to Islam. The list assumes the reader, and writers are Muslim or are knowledgeable of Islam.

  2. This is a Muslim network and as such an Islamic environment should be maintained. Please adhere to proper Adab when dealing with others. (i.e.. avoidance of profane/explicit language, no bullying etc.)

Please be respectful of each other's educational choice, whether it be public education, private Islamic school or Muslim home school -- traditional or unschool. We can object or discuss with out denigrating the choice or the person.

  3. This list is only for the discussion of education, education politics, Muslim education, family relations (as it pertains to education). Though this list will also promote a community/family atmosphere, where postings of humor, caring and community are most welcome, there are prohibitions.

    PROHIBITED

This list is not for the prostelization of any religion. It is a Muslim list. Postings determined to be for the purposes of prostelization are prohibited.

Comparative religion (within reason) and comparative sect questions within the context of education are welcome. All internal politics that divides the Ummah is prohibited.

Posting of propaganda materials against any Muslim organization, Muslim personality, race, other religions or personality in other religions is prohibited.

A subscriber who has posted material determined to be for such purposes will be warned once. A second such posting will result in poster being permanently removed from the Madrasah list.

  4. Please protect others intellectual property. This list and list- owner are not responsible for the contents of the posts of others, and cannot be held liable. Subscribers are asked not to post the entire writings from Muslim and non-Muslims. Only relevant passages.

It is important to understand that the writers, Muslim and non-Muslim would like to see some monetary benefit for their work. It rewards them for taking the time to write, encourages them to write more, and sometimes is the difference of food being on the table one night or not. Sales also encourage publishers, Muslim, and non-Muslim to produce more.

If you photocopy, scan or post entire works, without author/publisher's express permission, you are robbing from them. Thievery of intellectual property, like physical property, is against Islam.

This list is maintained by Muslim Home School Network and Resource (MHSNR). It is part of our continuing commitment to provide and create resources for Muslim home educators and all Muslim educators.

MHSNR principals that govern CasaMadrasah-Net

Our Mission
First, to provide the Muslim home schooling community with as many choices and resources as possible.

Second, to create and maintain networking resources for Muslim home schooling families. No matter where a Muslim home schooling family resides, we want to insure that they never feel alone.

In keeping with our mission and our beliefs, MHSNR and MFHF List removes itself from any and all political issues that do not impact education and home schooling. MHSNR does not engage in or will be involved in any form of internal politics that divides the Ummah. Our only interest is in providing the best education for our children and supporting all others who choose to home school.

ENJOY the list. Insha'Allah, this list will be a lot of fun and full of support and insight.
