Dear Parents,

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah

This month we are encouraging parents to schedule eye examinations for all their children, including those as young as three.

Early detection, treatment and prevention will, insha'Allah, protect your child's eyesight for a life time.

Sometimes vision problems go undetected with just an eye chart exam given at your child's annual physical. Undetected vision problems can hinder your child's education and present problems later on in life.

Many medical insurance companies offer vision coverage as part of their plan. Additionally many state and local health agencies have vision clinics. LenCrafters, Pearl Vision, and Walmart Vision Centers often have Doctors of Optometrics on the premises.

Allah's gift of sight is a precious gift indeed. Help preserve that gift for a lifetime.

Assalamu Alaikum,
