Have you ever wondered why Gifted and Talented are paired
with Special Needs and Learning Disabilities?
This is because Gifted and Talented kids have special needs, additionally
children with learning disabilities are also very intelligence!
Through the ages all societies have made the mistake of thinking all
children with learning disabilities are stupid. They aren't, in many
cases that test in the higher ranges of intelligence. LD kids and
adults just think and process information differently, and often see
things in problem solving that others don't see.
They are the one of the original "outside the box" thinkers!
