English as a Second Language (ESL)

We, Muslim homeschoolers, are unique in the American homeschool population as we have a large number of homeschooling families whose primary language (language spoken in the home) is not English (American English). It is important for our children to learn English and be literate in English for upper schools, college, vocational, work, and job environments as well social settings.

We encourage you to also look at employing an English coach or tutor once a week.
Later as the language is mastered you may wish to include a speech and diction coach.
