Dictionary Work
Purpose: All word lists in this book are reinforced by use within the
book. The purpose of the dictionary work is to familiarize the student
in working with reference material and to provide background information
for greater reading comprehension. Page 5 in student book.
8. Using the dictionary as your guide, define the following
in your own words. Then use each word in a sentence. Write your definitions
and sentences on a separate sheet of paper.
Definitions will
vary but should have the following focus:
